Holroyd Who's Who
Public Profile
I see other people as an extension of my self. I like the person I am. Integrity, honesty and love are high on the list of how I treat myself and therefore how I respect other people. Sure there is understanding and compassion for the parts of myself that need a little extra care.
I am a practical person. One thing at a time, step by step through life. I love all things nature. I see it as the only thing that connects our soul.
I practice Chi Gong, a oriental energetic martial art and meditation I have practiced and explored for many years.

🏛️ Jack Ferguson
Jack Ferguson represented Merrylands in the New South Wales parliament in 1959–62 and again from 1968 to 1984, giving the former Holroyd area a long connection with his political career. He served as deputy premier from 1976 to 1984 and held portfolios including housing and public works. Before politics he worked in manual occupations and became a building-union organiser. Parliamentary tributes also recall his community work with his wife Mary after retirement.
